Dr. MacDonald Vasnani wins 'Greater Accra Region Business Icon of the Year' award

The Chief Executive Officer of Consolidated Shipping Limited, Dr. MacDonald Vasnani has been named the 'Greater Accra Region Business Icon of the Year' 2018 at edition two of the Ghana Business Quality Awards.

The seasoned business executive was awarded for his excellence, commitment and dedication toward the development of an industrialised economy.

The Ghana Business Quality Awards, organised annually, recognises and reward outstanding entrepreneurs and corporate executives who have positively impacted the economic growth of Ghana.

Dr. MacDonald Vasnani has over twenty-five years of experience in the international Freight Forwarding and Logistic industry with specialization in offshore and projects Logistics transportation and handling.

He is also the President of the Consolidated Shipping Limited branch office in Aurora.

Dr. MacDonald Vasnani spearheaded the operation of the first indigenous Oil and Gas Logistics base in Ghana which handles Onshore and Offshore Oil equipment including inspection and certification.

Others who stood out at the ceremony include CEO of Special Investment Limited, Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong who won the Ashanti Region Business Icon and CEO of Allied Limited, Dan Kofi Okudzeto was named 'Best Volta Region Business Icon' of 2018.

Fidelity Bank, Reroy Group and Coconut Grove Hotel, Groupe Nduom were also awarded at the event which took place at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel over the weekend.
