Dormaa Brick And Tile Factory Reactivated

The Dormaa Traditional Council and the District Assembly have jointly re-activated a brick and tile factory at Dormaa Ahenkro in a bid to offer employment to the youth in the area.

Nana Asiedu Boakye Yiadom, Dompemhene of the area, announced this at Techiman at the inauguration of the Dormaa Kroye Kuo.

He appealed to members of the Union to support the project and to Dormaa citizens resident at Techiman to contribute positively towards the development of Dormaaman.

Mr Isaac Osei-Antwi, Techiman District Chief Executive, advised them not to use the Union for partisan politics and chieftaincy disputes but as a platform to facilitate the accelerated development of the area.

Mr E. Fosu Agyeman, Chairman of Techiman District branch of the Union, said the Union would soon offer support for street children in Dormaa and Techiman Traditional Areas.
