Coconut Grove Hotel commissions Golf Club for clients

Elmina, Sept. 5, GNA - Elmina Coconut Grove Hotel has added another package to its edifice in a move to attract more clients to the Central Region and to give both tourism and sporting activities a boost. Management of the Hotel at the week-end thus commissioned a Golf Club to admit interested clients and tourists to the area to have golf facilities any time they visit the Region.

Mrs Yvonne Nduom, the Chief Executive Officer of Coconut Grove Hotels who inaugurated the facility said the Hotel's golf course has been expanded to 18 holes to make it more interesting and highly competitive to its patrons.

She said it has been put safe shape to all players of the sport and urged prospective golfers who visit the Region to take advantage and register with the Club.

Mrs Nduom said the Club has instituted an annual golf tournament with attractive packages for winners in every first week of September. The Chief Executive Officer of Gold Coast Securities, Mr Seth Asante, sponsors of the tournament, pledged that the Company will not renege on its annual sponsorship package.

Mr Asante said his outfit has been operating in the country for the past 15 years and has provided opportunity for Ghanaian workers to secure their future after retirement.

He said currently it was operating in six regions and will soon cover the entire country and urged workers to take advantage of its retirement package.
