Mr. John M. Sunderland, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cadbury Schweppes Plc is expected in the country on Monday, October 22 on a two-day official visit.

During his visit, he will update himself with the progress of Cadbury Ghana Limited, hold discussions with the Ministers of Finance and Trade and Industry as well as key stakeholders in the cocoa industry.

A release issued in Accra on Friday by Cadbury said the highlight of the visit would be a courtesy call on President John Agyekum Kufuor at the Osu Castle.

It said Mr. David Kappler, Chief Financial Officer of Cadbury Schweppes, would accompany the CEO on the visit.

Mr. Sunderland, who became the CEO of the company in 1966, is the founding director of the Coca-Cola Schweppes joint venture in 1987 and a managing director of the UK Sugar Confectionery Division and subsequently Trebor Basssett.
