CCTV Africa to cover Ghana made products awards

China Central Television (CCTV AFRICA) is to cover the maiden edition of the Ghana Made Products Awards 2013, scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2013, at 6.30pm, at the State Banquet Hall.

CCTV Africa is China Central Television's news productions center which focuses on African news and perspectives as well as international news. CCTV News intends to strengthen news coverage in Africa and promote communication and cooperation between China and African countries on trade, industry, politics, economy and culture.

The Ghana Made Products Awards 2013, an initiative of Entrepreneur Foundation of Ghana (EFG), is being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Finance and product certification by Ghana Standards Authority.

On the theme, “Patronizing Ghana- Made Products, the Gateway to Economic Development”, the award seeks to celebrate some of the Pride of Ghanaian indigenous products from Small and Medium Industries and expose them to Ghanaians throughout the country to promote, create awareness and build product loyalty to meet the challenges of domestic and International markets.

The media coverage will give Ghanaian entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their products through CCTV Africa news network.
