Britannia Airways Starts Operations In Ghana

Britannia Airways, the largest charter airlines company in the United Kingdom, is to start its charter flights operation in Ghana from December 16.

The airline operates in Italy, France, Germany, United Kingdom and the Scandinavian countries.

A three-man delegation led by Mr Allan Blarke, a director of the airline, was in the country to facilitate the start of the company’s operations.

Mr Blarke told newsmen after calling on the Minister of Tourism and Modernisation of the Capital City, Mr Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, that Britannia intends to boost tourism in Ghana through its charter flight operations in the country.

Mr Blarke said the airline is a member of the world of TUI. Mr Charles Reindorf, Managing Director of the Gold Coast Travel and Tours, agents of Britannia Airways in Ghana, said the company would give its passengers the best.

Other members of the delegation were Ms Marilyn Berry and Mr Anthony Ogunseitan of ATS Travel in the UK.
