In forty four years and furtherance Ghacem have created employment opportunities and sheltered millions of Ghanaians all over the country. The company’s unprecedented commitment and loyalty is well defined to the end users of its product, where a complete percentage of risk free usage of product is assured of them.
Ghacem is the leading producer of quality cement and thus merits the large market share in the country. As a socially responsible corporate organisation, Ghacem ensures that it contributes its quota not only economically but socially as well, hence the formation of the GHACEM CEMENT FOUNDATION in 2002. Where it continues to recognize the demanding needs of deprived communities, educational institutions, and health clinics by donating free unbiased distribution of cement. Their maximum support is unrivaled by all standards and has created a bond of goodwill between them and the nation who over the years have been their priority.
The recent shortage of cement in the market was no fault of Ghacem when it experienced over 60 hours of power outage in a week by our energy providers which almost injured the image the company has protected over the years. The unfortunate scarcity to many stakeholders and end users who had to suffer the consequences, is a clear indication of the immense contribution and major role Ghacem plays in nation building and the production of quality cement. Energy providers should put immediate mechanisms in place to rectify this anomaly. The economic consequences of these irregularities of power outage leave much to be desired. Government on the other hand should not distance itself from Ghacem but rather support them in their operations.
