Bible College Director express concern about false prophecy

Awutu Bawjiase (C/R), March 7, GNA - The Director of the New Life Bible College, the Reverend Daniel Oduro has called on Christians to be careful about false prophecy.

He noted that instead of Pastors and leaders of Christian organisations helping their members to know the path to salvation, "they are being taught something else which has got nothing to do with Biblical facts".

Rev Oduro said instead of leading their followers to seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness, they had turned their places of worship into "refuge for prosperity".

He was addressing the graduation ceremony for the first eight students of the College at Awutu Bawjiase in the Awutu-Effutu-Senya District of the Central Region.

"These false prophets mount our pulpits and the air waves polluting the body of Christ. To them God has become a travel agent arranging visas and other travelling documents for his clients," he said. "God has also been reduced to a lotto manager who doubles money worshipers give to him," Rev Oduro said and advised the new Pastors to show the World that they were true Disciples of Christ.

"As Theological graduates my challenge to you is not to replace the power of God with anointing oil. Pouring it on the people no matter how they live to receive their hearts desire," Rev Oduro stated.
