At The Stock Exchange

Accra (GAR), - Volume of shares traded on the stock exchange today remained low with little activity on the trading floor. The GSE All-Share Index went up by 0.14 points to settle at 385.14 points. The previous figure was 385.00 points. Shares on offer stood at 347,880, compared to bids of 4,898,530 shares. Volume of shares traded was 41,940. Market capitalization, however, went up slightly to 2,840.59 billion cedis, from Monday's 2,840.39 billion cedis. On the broader market, two equities gained - MLC, five cedis to close mid-week trading at 95 cedis, and PTC one cedi to finish at 276 cedis.
