Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs Ghana calls on NEIP boss

The Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs (AYE) Ghana, on Thursday 5th July 2018 paid a courtesy call on the boss of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) Mr. John Kumah.

The Alliance which is a network of young entrepreneurs and business leaders across the country used the opportunity to present a brochure containing details of its members and their respective businesses to the NEIP.

In the brief meeting, Mr. John Kumah who highly rated the Alliance as a core group to Ghana’s entrepreneurs echoed the need to bridge the knowledge gap between Ghana and the West in terms of technical and technological advancements. He mentioned the need for further capacity building and training to enhance the activities of entrepreneurs within the country.

Mr. John Kumah further confirmed governments readiness to partner with the private sector to enhance national growth and assured the Alliance to forge closer ties with NEIP and not hesitate to call on them when the need arises.


The AYE Ghana delegation led by the President Mr Richard Abbey Jnr used the occasion to appreciate his reception as well as interact with him about their various scope of businesses and underscored the need for Ghana to create the Dangotes of Nigeria here.

He said "We must deliberately focus on young entrepreneurs who are into agriculture, agro-processing and manufacturing by granting them tax holidays. AYE believes this will help facilitate industrialization and achieve governments objective of Ghana Beyond Aid
