The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) said all is set for the 2010 Edition of the Club 100 Awards and the “Invest in Ghana Seminar, 2011” at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra from 14th -15th September 2011.
The twin event, to be held under the distinguished patronage of H. E. President John Evans Atta Mills, would bring together top Government Ministers, key regulators, domestic and international corporate leaders and potential investors to discuss investment opportunities in the various sectors of the Ghanaian economy.
A statement from the GIPC says the theme for the seminar is “Partnerships for sustainable economic growth: The role of the Domestic investor”, and sectors to be discussed include Agribusiness and Agriculture, Energy, Oil and Gas, Tourism, Infrastructure, financial services and the ICT Industry.
The statement said the seminar would be climaxed on Thursday 15th September, 2011 with the prestigious Ghana Club 100 Awards, during which the best 100 Ghanaian business and the leading companies in each of the strategic sectors would be celebrated.
“There will also be Special Awards for outstanding business performers in selected categories including Corporate Social Responsibility,” the statement said.
The GIPC urged businesses and individual seeking to participate in the “Invest in Ghana” seminar to either pick a form for free at the front desk of GIPC or register online at http://gipcghana.com/form/igs.php.
It said the cost of registration is $200 overseas participants and GHC150 for Local participants.
“Tickets for the Ghana Club 100 Awards are also available at the front desk of GIPC at the cost of GHC 150.00,” the statement said.
