All-Share Index rises

Accra, Aug. 21, GNA - The benchmark GSE All-Share index rose in trading on Friday gaining 14.59 points at 5,255.14 points. This brought the change for the year to date to -49.63 per cent. Traded volumes slumped to 42,700 shares from 234,700 on Thursday while market capitalisation also appreciated to GH¢15,157.70 million from GH¢15,147.08 million. There were three price changes, two up and one down. Ecobank Ghana gained GH¢0.05 to close GH¢2.60; Ghana Commercial Bank also gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.78 and UT Financial Services lost GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.17.
