The Assembly members of Nhyiaeso constituency in Ashanti Region are grateful to the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for appointing Mr. Stephen Amoah, aka Sticker, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC).

A statement issued and signed by Nana Prempeh and Abraham Boadi, the Assembly men for Fankyenebra and Ridge electoral areas respectively, said: “We believe that the president has made a very good choice. Sticker’s background as an Economist, Investment Consultant and die-in-the wool party member will in diverse ways bring the needed professional touch to bear on the activities of MASLOC.

MASLOC is a Microfinance apex body responsible for implementing the Government of Ghana’s Microfinance programmes targeted at reducing poverty.

According to the statement, the appointment of Stephen Amoah will add to his experience and help grow and expand businesses in line with the party’s vision of positioning the private sector as the engine of growth of the Ghanaian economy and generate decent employment for the teeming unemployed youth.

They noted: “As an experienced Economist, Investment consultant and his commitment to excellence, Mr. Amoah is enormous and incomparable and we encourage him to deliver expectedly. The duo are, therefore, thanking His Excellency for the glory he has bestowed on the people of Nhyiaeso, a strong indication that he (Nana Akufo-Addo) recognises hard work and look for people who merit such positions.

On the qualities of Mr. Amoah, assembly men said: “We are of the strong conviction that his unifying quality which he has been exhibiting in his work as the Ashanti Regional Organizer of NPP coupled with his hard working posture would propel him to provide the leadership required to enhance the image of this crucial public institution and attain the objective for which MASLOC was established.
