In a press release issued by its lawyers, Evatex Logistics downplayed suggestions that it was awarded the contract unduly, stating that all due process involved in the awarding of contract were duly followed.
The company clarified that contrary to unfounded allegations in the media, it has the resources and expertise to deliver the revenue assurance contract at the airport

“Our client welcomes lawful investigations and remains confident that all records will affirm the integrity of the process of the award.
“Evatex reiterates its commitment to transparency, ethical governance, and supporting Ghana's public institutions through performance-driven partnerships,”.
While reiterating its commitment to cooperate with investigations into the now botched contact at the KIA, the company cautioned the public against spurious and misleading comments that have the potential of damaging its reputation in the eyes of the public.
“In view of the above, we have our client's further instruction to inform the general public of its readiness to fully cooperate with all aspects of the ongoing investigations and we further state that whilst our client is not against the public interest in the matter and discussions on same, our client cautions that such discussions must be done within the remit of law in order to avoid defaming our client and its officers” parts of the statement read.
