Africa’s Real Estate Industry gets Int’l Investors’ attention

In what is billed to be one of the biggest coup d’etats for Africa’s property developers, for the first time in many years if not ever, Africa’s real estate industry will have a seat at the high table at The Property Investor & Homebuyer Show – the leading international property investment show in the UK.

Property Investor Africa’s Founder and CEO, Douglas Oppong, made this announcement on Friday, 29thAugust following negotiations with the show organizers, to feature Africa heavily at the October event.

The package includes Property Investor Africa taking up a double stand to showcase properties from developers in Africa, to international investors. The key attraction will also be a seminar presentation by Mr Douglas Oppong on the topic: “Investment Opportunities in Africa’s Real Estate Industry”.

According to Mr Oppong, “Working together with well-established international property exhibition brands such as Property Investor & Homebuyer Show appears to be the way forward in packaging Africa’s property developments to international investors”.

He further said: “we are exploring the possibility of working collaboratively with the executives and organizers of The Property Investor & Homebuyer Show, as there is high interest in Africa’s real estate sector”.

The Property Investor & Homebuyer Show has been a leading property exhibition show in the UK for the last 12 years, attracting in excess of 4,000 serious investors mainly from the UK and worldwide. Exhibitors from the UK and Europe, USA, Thailand, Mauritius and as far as South Africa have been involved in previous ones. Very few Sub-Sahara Africa property developers have featured at this show in the past.
