Adopt solar power, security systems for buildings – Comsec

A leading technology system integrator, Comsec Technology Solutions, has urged real estate developers and individuals involved in construction in Ghana to focus on solar energy and security systems to complement power distribution efforts of government and deter criminals.

The company, which provides high-end technology solutions such as project planning, consultancy, support services in the area of security, energy and telecommunications, has launched its ultra-modern showroom in Accra.

Speaking to Class Business after the event at its Adabraka CCTV showroom office, Sales Director of Comsec Technology Solutions, Boaz Alon, emphasised that individuals can quicken intelligence-gathering efforts of the police through advanced security systems.

He said there is “no one-stop shop that really focuses on better power as well as advanced security systems” in Ghana, a situation, he said inspired Comsec to establish an advanced showroom to cater for power and security needs of homes, commercial buildings and industrial installations.

Mr Alon indicated that solar solutions are now more cost-effective than in past, so, real estate developers should start shifting to the adoption of solar power to reduce the pressure on the national grid and “Electricity Company of Ghana which is not always stable”.
