The Achimota Retail Centre, a new shopping mall is to be officially opened to the public on Thursday October, 29.

The new retail Centre, being developed by Delico Achimota Ghana Limited was constructed in the span of 18 months and is located near the St John’s Grammar School at Dome and would serve residents within Achimota, Tantra hills, Ofankor, Dome, West Legon and its environs.

The Centre would trade on a single level with variety of convenient retail, fashion, electronics and restaurant and food courts supported by ample open and covered parking space.

It covered 14,622 square meters and houses two-main anchor tenants and more than 45 frontline shops offering goods and services.

Mr Joseph Hayford, the Lead Consultant to the project, speaking during a tour of the facilities said the retail centre would endeavour to create a first class congenial shopping environment, where valued customers and renowned retailed brands would be brought together to do business.

He said the centre’s design is quiet different in how it opens its corridors to the congenial climate, delivering an enjoyable and refreshing open air and energy-efficient environment.

He said the Centre brings to the economy of the Achimota suburb, well-needed opportunity and jobs for more than 300 Ghanaians and far more in terms of support and suppliers relationships.

“Achimota has come to benefit immensely from the current congenial investment in its contribution to income and quality of life will be evident in the lives of its families and residents for a long time to come,” he added.

Already, some retailers have occupied the facilities including Shoprite, Telefonika, X Base, Basilissa and Starlite, Stanbic Bank, Palace, Shoprite, Nallem, Mrp, Surfline and Telefonika.
