Accra bourse registers low sales

Accra, Nov. 23, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Shares Index, the main market indicator, on Friday inched up by 0.79 points to 5,883.61 points from 5,882.82 points on Thursday, thus bringing the total gain for the week to 15.93 points having started at 5,867.68 points on Monday.

Total number of shares that changed hands was 42,900 shares bringing the total traded during the week to 7,301,100 shares. The change year to date was 17.53 per cent.

On the broader market, there were three price changes, one negative and two positive.

Aluwoks Limited lost GH=A2 0.0100 to close trading at 0.7300, while Ghana Oil Company gained GH=A2 0.0040 at GH=A2 0.2300 and SG-SSB went up by GH=A2 0.0004 at GH=A2 1.1105.

Market capitalisation was up marginally at GH=A2 11,918.63 million from GH=A2 11,918.14 million on Thursday bringing the total gain for the week to GH=A2 10.13 million.
