Accra bourse registers low sales

Accra, Nov. 22, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Shares Index, the main market indicator, on Thursday inched up by 0.14 points to 5,882.82 points from 5,882.68 points on Wednesday.

Total number of shares that changed hands was 50,700 shares and change year to date was 17.51 per cent.

On the broader market, there were five price changes, all positive. Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) led the pack with GH=A2 0.0002 gain to close trading at GH=A2 1.2120 while the remaining four equities gained GH=A2 0.0001 each with CAL Bank closing at GH=A2 0.4151; Enterprise Insurance Company at GH=A2 1.2008; Ghana Commercial Bank at GH=A2 0.9702 and SG-SSB at GH=A2 1.1101.

Market capitalisation was up marginally at GH=A2 11,918.14 million from GH=A2 11,918.05 million.
