Accra bourse jumps on gains in financial stocks

Accra, March 5, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure= , jumped 130.64 points at 5,838.65 points from 5,708.01 points, buoyed by gains in financial stocks. The rise brings the year to date gain to 4.78 per cent. On the broader market, there were four positive price changes. Ecobank (EBG) gained GH¢0.02 at GH¢3.32, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated was up GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.15, Ghana Commercial Bank went up= GH¢0.02 at GH¢0.87 and Fan Milk Limited was up GH¢0.10 at GH¢6.90= .. Traded volumes rose marginally at 146,934 shares from a low of 83,335= shares. Market capitalisation closed the session higher at GH¢16,221.12 mi= llion from GH¢16,108.90 million.
