Accra bourse index jumps up on UT rise

Accra, Nov. 25, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the main measure of performance of the Exchange, made a rare gain on Tuesday on the strength

of a GHC 0.03 appreciation by newly listed Unique Trust (UT). The index closed higher 10,573.43 points from at 10,563.54 points. The change year to date now stands at 60.21 per cent. There was only one price change - UT gained GHC 0.03 at GHC 0.03. Shares that changed hands closed the session at 28,000 from 10,400 shares on Monday. Market capitalisation ended trading higher at GHC 17,984.69 from GH¢ 17,915.15 million.
