Accra bourse index inches up

Accra, April 28, GNA - The GSE All-share index, the benchmark measure of performance of the Accra bourse, made rare recovery inching up by 1.07 points at 8,865.62 points. Change for the year to date now stands at -15.01 per cent. Traded volumes more than tripled to 176,300 Shares up from 48,200 on Monday.

Market capitalisation closed the session up marginally at GH¢17,782.99 million from GH¢17,782.21 million. On the broader market, there were three positive price changes. Ghana Commercial Bank gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.62, SG-SSG was GH¢0.01 better at GH¢0.55 and AngloGold Ashanti Depository Shares (AADS) went up by GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.31.
