Accra, Oct. 7, GNA - The GSE ALL-Share Index, the benchmark measure of performance of the Ghana Stock Exchange, dipped 122.65 points to 6,695.22 points on Thursday after six equities loss to pull it down. The bourse has, thus, so far made a gain of 20.15 per cent this year.
Volume of shares traded for the day was 144,284 shares, valued at GH¢139,172.07. CAL emerged as the day's most active stock for the session with 65,600 shares.
There were six laggards and two advancers. Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) was down GH¢0.01 to GH¢0.14, Fan Milk Limited (FML) lost GH¢0.01 to GH¢9.09 and Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) shed GH¢0.01 to GH¢1.87.
Other losers were Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) down GH¢0.01 to GH¢0.25, SG-SSB Limited (SG-SSB) lower GH¢0.01 to GH¢0.66 and UT Bank Limited (UTB) fell GH¢0.01 to GH¢0.25. Total Petroleum Ghana (TOTAL) gained GH¢0.14 at GH¢9.20 and AngloGold Ashanti Depository Shares (AADS) added GH¢0.02 to GH¢0.47. Market Capitalisation closed the session at GH¢18,937.49 million.
