Accra bourse inches up

Accra, Nov. 15, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange inched up in another dull trading session that still left the bourse still deep in the red. The GSE All-Share Index, the main market index, went up by 0.13 points at 4,899.21 points from 4,899.08 on Monday.

CAL Merchant Bank sold 212,600 shares to push traded shares up at 275,500 from 17,700 while market capitalisation was better at 92,204.88 billion cedis from 92,204.53 billion cedis from 3,393.18 million issued shares.

Change for the year remained at -27.94 per cent.

There were three price changes, all positive.

Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited and Fan Milk Limited gained one cedi each at 7,652 cedis and 15,655 cedis, respectively, while Aluworks gained four cedis at 5,005 cedis.
