Accra, March 16, GNA - The main index of the Accra bourse inched up on Thursday, but volumes remained low as investors continued to shy away from the market. The GSE All-Share Index, main stock index, went up by 0.2 points to 4,749.00 from 4,748.80 points while change for the year remained at -0.42 per cent.
Market capitalisation ended up at 91,895.37 billion cedis from 91,894.82 billion cedis on Wednesday. Total shares traded ended better at 113,000 from 93,300 on Wednesday.
There were three price changes - all positive. ALW made nine cedis at 6,010 cedis, CAL Bank was one cedi better at 1,702 and Enterprise Insurance Company also gained one cedi at 6,866.
