Accra bourse falls to reverse gains

Accra, July 5, GNA - The Monday trading on the Accra Bourse saw the GSE All-Share Index, the main market indicator, gaining 14.74 points to close at 6,558.68 points from Friday's close of 6,543.94 points. The change year t o date was 17.70 points. Total shares traded was 142,600 valued at GH¢32,778.00. Cocoa Proce ssing Company led the pack with 69,500 traded shares valued at GH¢1,390.00 wh ile SIC Insurance Company followed with 34,500 shares valued at GH¢11,385.0 0. On the broader market, there were two positive price changes. Benso O il Palm Plantations gained GH¢ 0.01 to close trading at GH¢0.74 while th e share price of Cocoa Processing Company also went up by GH¢0.01 to close GH¢ 0.02. There are 17.48 million issued shares and Market Capitalization of GH¢18,214.72 million.
