Accra To Become Aero-Hub Of West - Africa

The Ministry of Roads and Transports is considering making the Kotoka International Airport the Aero-hub of West Africa in Future.

If it succeeds, passengers on board air transports from major international airports would be transported to the KIA, Accra, before they would be further transported to their various destinations in the West Africa sub-region one obstacle which could affect the success of this vision is the inadequate Ghana Airways have had to work with.

He said efforts are being made by the Ministry, to seek the assistance of major International Airlines, to help in reviving Ghana Airways. The sector Minster Dr. Richard Anane today Peace fm that, he is confident in the advice being offered by the Board of Directors of Ghana Airways as to how to go with the negotiations involving Nationwide Airways, a private South African airline, to do business with Ghana Airways.
