Accra Bourse Index inches up on GCB, PZ gains

Accra, Oct. 18, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of performance of the Ghana Stock Exchange, inched up 3.26 points to close Monday's session at 6,734.16 points. This brings the gains made so far this year to 20.85 per cent.

There were five price changes - three gainers and two losers. Unilever Ghana Limited (UNIL) gained GH¢0.01 to GH¢5.36 on 700 shares traded, PZ Cussons Ghana (PZC) was up GH¢0.03 to GH¢1.15 on 1,300 shares traded and Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) advanced GH¢0.06 to GH¢1.91 on 35,300 shares traded.

On the flip side, Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG) was lower by GH¢0.05 to GH¢3.00 on 500 shares and SG-SSB Limited (SG-SSB) fell by GH¢0.01 to GH¢0.67 on 3,700 shares traded. Total volumes closed the session at 180,300 shares, valued at GH¢173,462.

Market capitalisation closed the session at GH¢19,790.85 million.
