Hearts of Oak Destroyers Destroyed

Stade Malien, the team that eliminated Hearts of oak from this years Africa Champions' League lost 0-3 at home to Senegalese side Jeanne d'Arc .

Jeanne d'Arc, thus took a massive step towards the group stage of the Champions' League .

The Malian champions, coached by Abdul Razak, were simply swept away by a determined and confident Jeanne d'Arc outfit.

Former national team star Pape Niokhor Fall opened the scoring after 15 minutes, and rapid striker Cesar Dacosta gave the Blue and Whites a two goal advantage at half time.

Ousmane Ndoye concluded the rout in stoppage time at the end of the game.

The second leg in two weeks time now seems a formality for the Senegalese champions, who should proceed to the League stage in which they so disappointed two years ago.

Ndiambour's task in the Caf Cup looks more complicated after they were outclassed in struggling to a goalless draw at home to Algerian side JS Kabylie.
