Golden Tulip Hotel Golf opens on Saturday

Accra, Jan. 27, GNA - All is set for this year's Golden Tulip Hotel Golf championship scheduled for the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday, January 31.

About 150 amateur golfers from Tema, Celebrity, Achimota and Bok Nam Kim Golf clubs are expected to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Stableford competition.

Mr Samuel Adetola, Captain of the Achimota Golf Club told the GNA Sports on Monday that very attractive prizes has been put at stake for the event which is the 14th edition to be sponsored by the hotel. Golfers from Achimota, who would be led by their captain, Adetola will include John Sam, Nick Smallman, Frank Adu Junior, Kofi Aggrey and Gilbert Morgan.

Mr Thom Sherif, General Manager of the hotel, is the special guest of honour.

Mr Adetola said the Achimota Golf Club would hold its Annual General Meeting in early March this year.
