Zumdick's contract expires on December 31

Mr Ralph Christoph Bernard Zumdick, head-coach of the senior national team, the Black Stars, will end his three-month contract with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on December 31.

A statement signed by Mr Emmanuel Gyimah on behalf of the General Secretary of the GFA said contrary to views held by the general public that the coaches contract ends on Wednesday November 19, "the contract rather expires on December 31, unless terminated earlier in pursuant to clause 9 of the contract."

The statement said, "The coach and the GFA may extend the term of agreement for a period to be specified on a mutually agreed terms and conditions."

The GFA appointed Zumdick as the interim coach for the national team for three months after the termination of the contract of his predecessor Bukhard Ziese.
