2013 was an eventful year – GOIL

Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) on the eve of Christmas described 2013 as an eventful year, whilst the Association of Oil Marketing Companies (AOMC) classified it as challenging but productive.

The two oil marketing entities pledged to work vigorously in 2014 to ensure that the oil market industry served the motoring public with quality products and required quantity.

The two entities stated in separate Christmas message signed by Mr Patrick Akpe Kwame Akorli, GOIL Managing Director and Mr Kwaku Agyemang-Duah, AOMC Industrial Coordinator and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Tuesday.

The GOIL statement commended its stakeholders including the motoring public for keeping faith with Ghana Oil products, management and staff for contributing to the transformation of the company and government for supporting the re-branding.

The GOIL statement assured the public that in 2014 GOIL will continuously improve and provide varieties in terms of its products and service delivery through product differentiation.

“In the region of fuel oils it is about combining best breeds of additives with the normal fuel oil. Our experienced technical team is the brain behind the innovations. They are able to take advantage of global research findings to create products of quality to our customers,” the statement stated.

The statement said in 2014 GOIL will continue with the large-scale modernization of its stations at the customer interface point to provide modern stations in every region to serve the communities.

The AOMC statement commended Oil Marketing companies for their contribution to national development. The statement appealed to the motoring public to abide by all road traffic regulations.
