MuscleMania West Africa is NOT affiliated with Muscleflavour

My name is Dr. Kofi Abrampah; I am a Nuclear/Clinical Pharmacist with the Cardinal Health RxEsource in Irvine, California, United States. I am also the founder of KOFLEX SPORTS LTD, in Accra, Ghana. I am writing to introduce you to and to seek support for my endeavor to improve the health and fitness of the people of West Africa

KOFLEX SPORTS, INC., is a small health and fitness product line company based in the United States of America, formed to provide fitness enthusiasts high quality fitness apparels, supplements, and free fitness consultation in training tips and nutritional supplements. As the founder, my main objective is to advice all fitness enthusiasts to ?sculpt their masterpiece? (bodies) the natural way; to abstain from using anabolic steroids and other performance enhancers as part of their training or fitness regimen. With this commitment to helping people sculpt a healthy body, I decided to form an organization (Koflex Sports Ltd, Accra, Ghana) dedicated to helping expose the great Ghanaian bodybuilders to the rest of the world, to heighten fitness and health awareness in Ghana and other West African nations, to help bring awareness to the global HIV/AIDS crisis, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. As a native of Ghana, I have seen the impact of this global pandemic on Ghana and other Sub-Saharan nations.

HIV/AIDS is the most significant public health crisis of our time, cutting short the lives of millions of women, men, and children throughout the world. In 2003, according to UNAIDS, more than forty (40) million people worldwide were living with HIV, while three (3) million people died of AIDS.

It is sad to say that more than fifty (50) percent of this astounding statistics occur in Sub-Saharan Africa. Of the more than forty (40) million people worldwide living with HIV in 2003, 26.6 million were in Sub-Saharan Africa. An estimated 2.3 million of the 3 million deaths associated with AIDS occurred in this area of Africa alone. The same trend holds true for number of people newly diagnosed with HIV. In 2003, an estimated 3.2 million of the total 5 million people newly diagnosed with HIV worldwide were in Sub-Saharan Africa.

In response to this global health crisis, the public and private sectors are joined in dynamic new partnerships; offering hope that HIV/AIDS will eventually be conquered and that tens of millions of lives will be spared. These efforts are treating HIV/AIDS as a public health imperative, providing dramatic new levels of support and initiatives.

KOFLEX SPORTS, INC in collaboration with American Sports Network, Inc., and MUSCLEMANIA has joined forces to accomplish this worth cause.

MUSCLEMANIA is the most internationally recognized natural bodybuilding contest today. Besides being an exciting and entertaining event, MUSCLEMANIA competitions give natural bodybuilders the opportunity to achieve health awareness and outstanding levels of fitness. Now celebrating its 16th season, MUSCLEMANIA has become the leader among natural bodybuilding events in the world. With exclusive, international television coverage by ESPN International, DSF Germany, Sky Sport Britain, Star Sport Asia, and many other networks, Musclemania is more recognized than any other natural contest worldwide. And with this popularity, Musclemania continues to expand throughout the world with sanctioned regional and international events.

MUSCLEMANIA is committed to promoting natural bodybuilding, thereby discouraging the use of performance enhancing drugs. Contestants who are tested positive for use of anabolic steroids, diuretics, and beta-blockers are disqualified from the competitions.

This year, KOFLEX SPORTS, INC. is helping MUSCLEMANIA expand its worldwide events by hosting its first competition in Ghana. As a native of Ghana and a MUSCLEMANIA professional bodybuilder myself, I have a personal objective to heighten fitness and health awareness in West African nations, where few people understand how to achieve long-term fitness and good health. Common illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, and HIV take the lives of millions of people in these nations. These diseases also play a major role in perpetuating poverty in the developing world, creating a vicious cycle in which hard-hit countries continue to lack the resources and infrastructure to overcome devastating public health crises.

This year?s event, ?MUSCLEMANIA WEST AFRICA?, a natural bodybuilding competition hosted by KOFLEX SPORTS, LTD, and American Sports Network, Inc., will be held in Ghana on Saturday, December 17th, 2005 at International Conference Centre in Accra, Ghana. For those of you have seen advertisement of other bodybuilding event scheduled for December 16th, 2005, also at the Conference Centre, please note that KOFLEX SPORTS, LTD, MUSCLEMANIA, and American Sports Network, Inc have no affiliation with Flavour Production and MuscleFlavour and/or event. I therefore urge all of you to reserve December 17th (not the 16th), to witness the most spectacular natural bodybuilding event ever sanctioned in Africa. For more information and registration forms to participate in this spectacular event please contact the event coordinators:
