Man Ghana 2006

Come this November, the Ghana muscleflavour Amateur Bodybuilding Association [GMABA] will showcase the nation biggest and only official bodybuilding championship - Man Ghana 06, which will combine sport and entertainment with the finals offering patrons of the sport of bodybuilding.

Man Ghana-Night of Champions is the most celebrated bodybuilding competition in Ghana, and it attracts many of the best competitors in Ghana.

The president of the GMABA, Mr Abdul-Hayye Yartey said, ?This year, the anticipation for this exciting event will be greater than ever as the Man Ghana 06 will see 7 bodybuilders selected to form the national team [THE BLACK MUSCLES] to represent the nation at all continental and international championship in 2007.

He said, ?It?s important to know that the GMABA Man Ghana bodybuilding championship is the only event in Ghana that qualifies competitors for the AFBB Africa championship, any IFBB international championship.

Mr. Yartey said, the event, which is meant for Ghanaian competitors wishing to pursue a professional competing career, would have 3 divisions with a division for first timers. He therefore call upon all gym goers and people with good physique whom build their bodies in various gyms around the country to pick registration forms and be part of this exciting event.

He said he was impress with the progress of the association and with the level of health and fitness activities in the country recently. He also called upon all Ghanaian to engage themselves in some form of fitness activities and also to pick up membership in gyms.
