Uganda politician trend afta she confam why she collect back ambulance she donate give her district afta she lose election

Uganda State Minister of Finance for Investment and Privatization Evelyn Anite dey trend afta she reply one post wey say she collect back ambulance wey she donate give Koboko Municipality district for Uganda during her re-election bid into parliament for 2021.

Di tweet wey Africa Facts Zone post, say “Uganda politician, Evelyn Anite collect di ambulance wey she donate give her district, afta she lose election for 2021.”

Her response to di post for her official page take some pipo by surprise.

"First, na true I collect my ambulance back and I no get any apology for dat. Why I do am? Na becos dem no vote for me. So una expect me to commot wit notin? Galatians 6:7 man go reap wetin im sow.” She fire back.

Di mata happun for 2021 wen Anite bin dey seek re-election under di National Resistance Movement party, (NRM).

She bin say she donate di ambulance wey dem paint wit colour yellow, wit her foto and party logo on di body to residents make e dey carry mothers go hospital so dem go easily access hospital and e go help reduce maternal mortality for di district.

She bin dey contest for di third time afta she don spend 12 years as di district representative for parliament from 2011 to 2021.

Di 38-year-old politician, contest di NRM primary for Koboko Municipality election district for 2021 but lose di election to Charles Ayume. Ms Anite get 7,321 votes while her opponent Oga Ayume, wey win get 8,089 votes.

She accept say she lose di election but tok say na election malpractice but later go collect her ambulance afta some residents explain tok say dem no vote am becos dem no wan make she represent dem again.

On 7 September 2020, Ms Anite donate ambulance give di district municipal health department and promise to dey pay di driver salary for six months.

But she collect di ambulance back and fire di driver afta dem no vote am for di third time.

Who be Evelyn Anite?

Anite na di kontri State Minister of Finance for Investment and Privatization. She don dey goment since 2011 afta dem elect am as member of Parliament for Koboko Municipality, for di West Nile sub-region, Uganda, East Africa. She also serve as di kontri state Minister for Youth from 2011 to 2015.

Anite graduate wit Bachelor of Arts from Ugandan Christain University wia she study Journalism for 2008. She get Masters from Tufts Universirty and attend Harvard Business School.
