Tema Youth take on Dynamics after cooling Fire Service

2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I second placed side Tema Youth will be featuring in the league tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu. The team is up against DC Dynamics at 19:00 GMT following a nine point win over Fire Service in its maiden game this season.

Tema clinched a 70-61 win over Fire in the opening week while Dynamics lost be seven (57-64) to Reformers of Prisons.

Dynamics fell to the returning Reformers side who recently qualified from Division II to the elite stage; Reformers placed second behind Ghana Police in the standings to gain promotion.

Despite clinching a marquee win over eternal rival and defending league champions Braves of Customs last season, Tema Youth couldn’t prevent Braves from running away with another league title.

Breaking the stronghold of Braves on the league’s top prize is the focus for the Team lads and a second straight win in two games should be enough to register as a good start.

On the other hand, DC needs to avoid defeat to fall in two games without a win.
