Former NBA Guard and ESPN College Basketball Analyst Stephen Bardo took young players mostly from Tudu Galaxy Basketball Academy through basketball drills in a clinic held over the weekend.

The one day event dubbed “Bardo’s Breakdown” took place at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu with coaches from Ghana participating in the program.

Coaches from the local scene including Braves of Customs Head Trainer and Two time Coach of the Year Winner at the Ghana Basketball Awards Lawal Brimah and Galaxy Women’s Basketball Club Coach Shadrach Nii Quaye aided the former Dallas Mavericks Guard.

Bardo who doubles as a motivational speaker, took time to teach players life lessons to be successful in life such as sacrifice and hard work.

Young players were taken through several drills on footwork, passing and shooting in an effort to develop fundamental skills needed to thrive in the professional ranks.

The near three hour workout concluded with a series of games involving players as young as six. In an interview with Basketballghana.com following the exercise, Bardo expressed satisfaction with the output of participants at the event.
