C4-Heat to open Tema League Finals

Tema Community 4 will be in action against Tema Heat in the opening game of the Tema Basketball League Group Finals.

The tie tips off at 15:30 GMT at Tema’s Community 4 Court and is the first of two games planned to be honored at the venue on Sunday October 22.

This will be the second game involving both teams following C4’s 50-44 win over Heat in Game One of the Group B Final.

Group A’s Final between Ashaiman Lions and Nungua Coldstore will be played after Heat’s tie with Lions leading the series following a 65-43 win over the defending Tema League Champions.

Lions win came on in the opening tie in the last round but Ashaiman will have to wait a bit longer for the chance to book its place in the league final.

Should Lions beat Coldstore this Sunday, the team will return to the final after losing last year’s edition to Coldstore.

A win for either team gives Community 4 or Tema Heat a big chance to make the finals for the first time.
