Aninagyei makes case for Tema League MVP

Tema Community 4 Point Guard Aninagyei Osei is an early favorite to win the Most Valuable Player of the Year Award in the Tema Basketball League this season.

Ahead of a crucial round this weekend, all eyes will be on the burly Tema Community 4 Guard’s ability to lead his team to a win like he has done thus far this campaign.

Osei has played a key role in Community 4 topping Group B in the regular season and being on the verge of a final game spot after leading his side to a 50-44 win over rivals Tema Heat.

As a veteran leader of the young team, Osei has been the go to guy when things get sticky for his side particularly in the latter part of the regular season and postseason.

He was instrumental in C4’s comeback win over Ghana Navy in Game 2 of the series by scoring the final seven points to clinch his side’s name in Group B’s final game after producing a similar performance in C4’s 29-28 win Game One.

In a deep pool of talent that has the likes of Ashaiman Lions Elvis Pobi-Siaw and Nungua Coldstore’s Enoch Borsah in contention, Osei is making his play do the talking.
