"Akufo Addo resigns as Minority Spokesman?", asks the Palaver in a front page headline.

The Palaver says Nana Akufo Addo, a defeated presidential aspirant of the NPP and the party's Member of Parliament for Abuakwa, has tendered in his resignation as the NPP's Spokesman on Constitutional and Legal Affairs. The paper says Nana Akufo Addo's resignation was contained in a fax message he sent to Mr Odoi-Sykes, national chairman of the NPP, from France. According to the Palaver its scouts have confirmed that the decision to resign as the Minority Spokesman has, apart from the Sunyani humiliation, been triggered off by his abortive attempt to undermine Mr J.H. Mensah and capture the position of Minority Leader.
