Ghanaian musician, MzVee has disclosed that working as an independent artiste has helped her to do things at her own pace.

Last year, the ‘Natural Girl’ singer parted ways Richie Mensah’s Lynx Entertainment record label. This came at a time when she had been missing from the music scene.

In an interview with Dziffa Akua Ametam on Citi TV on how working on her own feels, she replied that it has helped her to do things her own way.

“Oh my goodness, it [the feeling] is so different. I can’t explain it, should I say liberating? I don’t think you can ever be done with your problems. You are basically managing it every single day, and so I am doing things at my own pace. Whenever I feel like I can do something I do it so it is not back to back,” she said.

She also said that in the meantime she is working with her own team and she is happy with that.

While at Lynx Entertainment, it was rumoured that she was not given the necessary attention like was given to her label mates Kuami Eugene.

She is currently out with a reggae single titled ‘Sherrif.’
