One OF Ghana?s most vibrant radio stations, the Accra-based Peace 104.3 Fm, is stepping out with its new programme, ?The Search?, to break the genre of talent shows, ever presented on the airwaves.
Commencing next week, it is expected to last for eight weeks, with thrilling moments from the contestants.
Described as a life-changing event, it would create a platform to bring to the limelight, young talented people between the ages of 18 and beyond, to showcase their untapped and hidden talents through the power of radio.
They would be given ample opportunity to prove their talents through singing, poetry or appellation recitals, and also demonstrate abilities to imitate known personalities with perfection, to explore further as they line themselves up for a glittering career in showbiz.
The contestant who might be crowned winner of the competitive show, would surely walk home with very attractive packages, and guaranteed media exposure for some time.
Last Saturday audition began with more than 450 people who registered to be part of this talent-hunt show, which would hit airwaves very next week.
A lot more contestants are expected to pick up participation forms from Peace Fm, and returned them immediately for appointment and live performance at the station.
