Watch Out For Dr. Poh With "Na Who"

Dr. Poh Kwabena Nyarko is his name and also known in showbiz circles as Dr. Poh. Born on the 27th December, 1977 at Accra New Town, he attended the Kings College International and then proceeded to Fadama JSS. From there, he went to the Goshen Secondary School where he left thinking of traveling abroad.

Due to some circumstances beyond his control, the traveling did not come on but all his friends thought he had even left. The traveling delayed him to the extent that even if he should go back to school, repeating will be the only option so he decided to go into music in 1995.

Ghana Music.Com asked him what happened after he couldn't travel abroad and he said "I teamed up with Obrafour?s group called 'Aberempong' in Accra which was made up of four boys and a girl but the group had to break up due to a little bit of confusion between us. Obrafour and I had to form our own group after the Aberempong group had dissolved where we had a producer until Obrafour came out as a solo artiste with his hit song 'Yaa Nom'. "He (Obrafuor) featured me on most of his tracks such as 'Pae Muka', 'Konkosani' and the likes.

"Obrafour was more than a brother to me, we lived together, did every thing together. Infact anywhere you see Obrafour, I will be there and anywhere you see me he will also be there, until he left for his father?s apartment" he added.

Dr Poh said he later had a producer and that was when he started recording but the producer left for the UK in no time and was therefore frustrated. He thought all hopes were lost until he met Ronny Coaches of Buk Bak. Ronny looking at his ability and the effort he was putting up then introduced him to Jay Q, the guru of beats who is handling his new album so well.

"I had an agreement with Jay Q before the recording of my album started a year ago, he added.
As at now, I am preparing to outdoor my maiden album soon which is receiving some airplay at Vibe FM."

Dr. Poh's hit song 'Na Who' is receiving massive airplay on Vibe FM even though his album is not yet out but the promotion of his album will start after the ban on noise making is over and also Ghana Music.Com will keep lovers of Dr Poh updated after his album is out.

Watch out for tracks like ?Na Who?, ?Maame Serwah?, ?We Nyame Fo featuring Pop Skini?, ?Embo hu?, ?Nipa Nye? featuring Obrafour, ?Fre No Ma me?, ?Dr Poh?, ?Me Ara Na Ope? featuring Castro. The new album is made up of ten tracks on the CD and eight on the cassette which is certainly going to be a chart buster like Jay Q's Platinum album.

His last words to the general public are that he has came to stay and to deliver what they desire because he's been around for a long time.
