McAbraham 's Chacha

McAbraham maybe known as a member of the award winning group Gospel All Stars who shook the gospel music with their song W?aseda Ni. But he is also a great solo artiste on his own who has churned out songs like Hye W?Akono So, a song which was played so much on television.

The choreography of the video captured vividly what he wanted to say.
 
He is out again with Chacha whose video is also receiving lots of airplay on television.

Again the choreography is very explicit and brings out the song vividly.
   
The songs do not have any exceptional rhythm but runs along the lines of mainstream gospel music beats. The keyboard is the dominant instrument with almost all the songs in the mid-tempo vein.

Chacha the title track which means gambling is the most impressive song on the album and talks about the trails and tribulations he has gone through.
  
In the song he talks about not gambling with his life because of what he has gone through.

He recounts all that happened to him from certain death. Perhaps we can all learn about God?s grace from this song. Along with a very good chorus the drums are used to create effect.
  
Meba is an advisory song with the musician assuming the persona of God talking to his children to be careful. It is slow paced and makes extensive use of the keyboard with a very good chorus.

 ?Time will tell? is an adage that assures us whenever we go through some rocky patches in life we should not be down but try not give up as time will make it all right. That is what

he says in Emmre, according to him he will never be discouraged and as time determines every thing, he will rather wait on the lord and strive to move forward. It is the mid-tempo vein and his rich voice enhances the song.
    
Bra is also another good song which calls on all who are in trouble to come and experience the Grace of God for free. It advises us not to be tardy as God will not reject us. It is in the highlife vein and again the keyboard is the most dominant.
 
Others songs on the album include Dwene Ho Yie, Boame, Psalm 51 and Ezekiel 18. The album has some great choruses which will beckon people to sing. The album was recorded at the Spirit Digital Studios in Kumasi.
