Fire destroys carpentry shops in Kumasi

Kumasi (Ashanti Region) 21 April, Fire swept through the wood industry at Anloga, a suburb of Kumasi, last week and caused extensive damage to equipment and tools. The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) spent about two hours to bring the fire under control and, but for their timely intervention, the entire wood village would have been razed to the ground. There were however no casualities.
