Through his album, Tony speaks to the heart of people who always seek cheap things. Tony advises that too much of everything is bad.

Tony realized his love for music when he was in his teen years. Back in the days, Tony used to listen to a lot of rap music and that?s where he inherited his rap skills.

Tony, who grew up in Ashtown, Kumasi, used to rap with elites like Lord Kenya, Shemolei, Akyeame, Johnny Pee and Richy Pee until he traveled to the U.S in 1996. In US, he formed a music group with Anuanom, Africans and Amamre but thing didn?t work out as he had planned. Although, he was unsuccessful in forming a group, Tony wasn?t discouraged because he knew that persistence brings success.

In a one-on-one with Dondoweb, Tony talks about how "Adefode" is intended for the listening ears of both adults and the youth. "The message in my music is for both younger and older audience." He said. "There?s been a lot of criticism in the industry but hip-life is a form of medium that we use to convey our message to the community" He added.

When asked about some of the obstacles encountered in doing "Adefode", Tony said that it was difficult to get people to support financially, but with belief in God and hard work, the album is ready, although, it took about 4 years.

Advising people who are also in the planning stage of making their first album, Tony said "I encourage people not to give up, and keep their heads up. It is not easy in this business but those on top began at the bottom."

On those who inspire him the most, Tony without hesitation mentioned Nana Quame, Daddy Lumba, Reggie Rockstone and many more.

Tony, upon encountering success intends to give back to the community. He believes that there are so many people with dreams but due to little or lack of support system that exist in our community, many dreams fizzle into thin air.
