Tony D (The Pride Of Volta) Out Again

Since announcing himself on the Ghanaian music some years ago, Anthony Komla Dogbey known in showbiz circles as Tony D has demonstrated that he is a great force reckon with.

Even though modern music is not so popular in the Volta Region, Tony D has over the years worked hard to put that Region on the musical map of Ghana. No wonder he is often referred to as 'The Pride of Volta'.

He always met withstanding ovation whenever he is announced on stage anywhere in the Volta Region while his music easily drags lovers unto the dance floor.

Tony D recently released his ninth album, which he described as Xmas gift to all his fans at the freedom Hotel in the Volta region.

The launch attracted all the stars of Volta region including rapper Ziggy, Frank Nero, the Queen of Volta and many others.

According to Tony he is targeting the international market especially the US and Nigeria with the latest eight track album titled 'Am Gonna Make It', he plans to embark upon a tour early next year to promote the album.

Some of the tracks on the album include 'Jehovah Is Watching U', 'Enemies of Progress', 'Think About', 'Put on Me Through', 'I Found My Lover', 'Happy Yourself' and 'Am Gonna Make It', the title track.

All the tracks were recorded and mixed at Tony D Digital recording studio at Ho. The album is available in all musical shops through the country.
