Tic Tac, VIP Headline Afro-Caribbean Celebration In London

Dialogue Communications, the world leading mobile messaging company, is to provide The Various Corporation, specialists in events management, with its online Mobile Applications Portal (MAP) solution to process an expected 100,000 text messages to win free tickets to attend a giant Afro-Caribbean concert in September. More than 150,000 people are expected to attend.

Dialogue's revolutionary new system will allow 2,000 revellers to attend the event, being held in support of the campaign against poverty in Africa, free of charge.

'Only last month we supported the all-important African Live8 concert held at the Eden Project and we are pleased to be supporting a similar event,' commented Paul Griffiths, director of Dialogue Communications.

'MAP is ideally suited to this mass-competition scenario because of its straightforward online installation, set up and monitoring of incoming texts.'

MAP is designed for any company wanting to employ mobile messaging as a direct avenue to its customers. The portal makes setting up mobile messaging campaigns quick and easy, ensuring their effectiveness. The online service collates a high capacity of mobile data giving its users the opportunity to identify and respond to its customers. MAP is suitable for marketing professionals, content owners, local authorities, government agencies, and broadcast agencies.

'We are continually looking for ways to reach our target attendees and in this case Dialogue's system is ideal, especially for the younger generation,' said Julius Reynolds, senior vice president of The Various Corporation.

'We hope this event will give the Afro-Caribbean community the chance to show their support and make a difference for all those in Africa.'

Mountsfield Park, in South East London, is to host the event on 3rd September 2005. Headline acts include Papa Wemba, Sonti Nedebele from South Africa, King Masco, the Ghanaian socialite musician, Tic Tac, VIP, 2 FACE from Nigeria; and El Hula will also feature in the line up.
