Red Lipsticks acts Walk Against Breast Cancer

As part of Allure beauty Spa 5th year Anniversary and Hype Touch a breast campaign against breast cancer, the two parties will be walking on the streets of Accra on the 15th of October 2011 on the theme – ‘let’s Walk together’ ahead of the all female musical concert dubbed Red Lipsticks music concert on the 29th of October 2011 at the Dome-international conference center.

The walk which will begin from the El-wak sports stadium to the Allure Spa in the city will host majority of the female performers billed to stage a rocking show on the 29th of October with names Becca, Efya, Mimi, Bertha, Irene, Eazzy, Mzbel, Akosua Agjapong, Sherifa Gunu, Rosay, St. Riya, Empress, among others hence all fans of these stars should join hands as they walk away breast cancer disease in Ghana.

In a chat with the CEO of Hype Records, Mr. Opoku Asafo Adjei Anane Agyeman, he stressed that, as part of the Hype Touch a breast campaign, the walk is to mark a massive campaign against the deadly disease affecting women in the country and also to tap the shoulders of Allure Beauty Spa for giving Ghanaians 5 years of dedicated service. He also added that the stats as it stands now is deadly as over 2000 women die out of breast cancer yearly in the country and if care is not taken the number might rise, but the question is why should we allow this disease to kill all our innocent women in the country?

Mr. Opoku noted that when he heard of Allure’s 5year anniversary walk against the same social course his show is fighting against which is breast Cancer, the Hype Records Touch a breast campaign team did not hesitate to walk with the people from Allure Spa and by so doing also throw a challenge to every Ghanaian to join their favorites female divas come Saturday.

In Mr. Opoku’s final words before the walk on Saturday, he revealed that Hype Records, Organizers of the first ever all female music concert will be given out GHC5 per ticket sold to aid International Women’s wheel international, but the Ghana branch, who have also been fighting breast cancer in the country for close to 9years without any government support in their own small way.
