Raquel for 020 Live Industry Cocktail Party

Sensational Raquel has been named as the only Ghanaian artiste to stage a performance with USA super star Trey Songs and Nigeria’s own Michael Jackson D’banj at the 020 Industry Cocktail Party scheduled for Monday 19th September 2011 at the Villa Monticello.

The industry cocktail party which is normally held for stake holders and sponsors highly prestigious clients seek to create a social able ground for interpersonal relationship between the foreign artistes and all special guests hence its selection of artistes locally is very delegate. Raquel who was selected due to her current status in the industry as the only soul singer with so much talent, got her gig with songs like ‘Odo’ both original and remix, One more thing to say, ‘this is Me’ plus the youth rocker Sweetio featuring Sarkodie.

According to Mr. Stephen Creppy, CEO of Black Star SR Entertainment, management label for Raquel he did explained that, even though Raquel will not be on the larger stage come 20th of September with her fellow local artistes, she is where she has to be, mingling with the corporate bodies. For the records, Raquel is the only local artiste on the 020 live industry cocktail party and to us as management team we believe it is a step in the right direction, Creppy noted.

Finally Creppy thanked organizers of the 020 live cocktail party for Raquel’s endorsement of the show and promised them a thundering live band experience with the soul singer Raquel as she has in recent times proved her maturity as a singer.

Raquel plays with Trey Songs and Dbanj live at Villa Monticello on Monday 19 Sept 2011, a step towards a positive response for a bright musical career which has already started in full flight.
